CANCELLATION POLICIES

Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance will receive a full refund minus the 2.9% processing fee + $.30 for transaction. Deposits for services canceled less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance will be charged in full.

CHANGES TO PARTIES & EVENTS

All changes must be made 72 hours prior to the event.  First time changes made more than 72 hours prior to the event are free.  A second change will result in a decrease of half of the discount. Changing details a third time will cancel out the full discount.  More than three changes will be charged the amount of the original booking should it be larger than the final service total. 

CLIENT TARDINESS

If the client has not responded within 15m of their scheduled time, the client forfeits their service time and will not receive a refund. A Practitioner will wait for a client for 15m before leaving.

GRATUITY

20% gratuity is added to all services. Gratuity is based on the original cost of services (before any discounts).

HOURS

Traditional hours are from 9am to 9pm by appointment ONLY. Customized scheduling is available for an additional cost.

MINIMUM SERVICE REQUIREMENTS

Our minimum service requirements are as follows:

  • Dance – 1hr per per Instructor which would be one of 3 options: 1 consecutive hour of instruction, 2 consecutive 30m sessions of instruction, or 4 consecutive 15m sessions of instruction.
  • Facials – 2hrs per per Esthetician which would be one of 3 options: 2 people each receiving a 1hr Facial, 4 people each receiving a 30m Facial, or 8 people each receiving a 15m Mini Facial Cleanse.
  • Henna Art – 2hrs per per Henna Artist which would be one of 3 options: 2 people each receiving a 1hr Henna Art Design, 4 people each receiving a 30m Henna Art Design, or 8 people each receiving a 15m Mini Henna Art Design.
  • Massage – 2hrs per per Massage Therapist which would be one of 3 options: 2 people each receiving a 1hr Massage, 4 people each receiving a 30m Massage, or 8 people each receiving a 15m Chair Massage.
  • Meditation Guides – 1hr per per Guide which would be one of 3 options: 1 consecutive hour of guidance, 2 consecutive 30m sessions of guidance, or 4 consecutive 15m sessions of guidance.
  • Nails –  2hrs per Nail Specialist which would be one of 3 options: 2 people each receiving a 1hr Mani & Pedi, 4 people each receiving a 30m Mani, or 8 people each receiving a 15m Mini Mani Color Change.
  • Psychics – 2hrs per per Psychic which would be one of 3 options: 2 people each receiving a 1hr Reading, 4 people each receiving a 30m Reading, or 8 people each receiving a 15m Mini Reading.
  • Sound Bath Guides – 1hr per per Guide which would be one of 2 options: 1 consecutive hour of guidance or 2 consecutive 30m sessions of guidance.
  • Yoga Instructors – 1hr per per Instructor which would be one of 3 options: 1 consecutive hour of instruction, 2 consecutive 30m sessions of instruction, or 4 consecutive 15m sessions of instruction.

NAIL POLISH SERVICES

After receiving any nail polish application, it is best to wait between 10 and 12 hours  before getting into  a swimming pool. Your nails may feel dry to the touch shortly after application, but that’s only the top layer. It may take several hours for polished nails to be completely dry. It is also best to refrain from taking hot baths,  long hot showers, stepping into a steam room or relaxing in a hot sauna because all of these actions may negatively effect your newly polished nails. Body Mind Events, Unwind LA, nor the Nail Tech may be held accountable for nail polish that chips or comes off after the nail polish has been applied.

PAYMENTS METHODS

We invoice for all services and final payments are due 3 days prior to all service dates. Credit cards and ACH payment methods are accepted. Deposit payments will reserve and final payments will confirm services.

REFUSAL OF SERVICES

Practitioners reserve the right to refuse service to any client who acts in an inappropriate manner.  We also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who was not forthcoming about her/his medical condition. Some medical conditions are a contraindication to receiving bodywork and must be mentioned at the time of placing the reservation.

RESCHEDULING

Rescheduling more than 7 days prior to a service date will not incur additional charges or will be refunded minus the 2.9% processing fee + $.30 for transaction. Rescheduling within 7 days of your event will result in a decrease of half of the discount & the issuing of a new invoice for half of the originally discounted price. Rescheduling in fewer than 72 hours will cancel out the full discount and we will issue a new invoice for the full amount that was originally discounted + a $50 rescheduling fee. There are no changes allowed within 48 hours of a scheduled appointment date & time.

TRAVEL POLICIES

There is a $25+ surcharge for travel per spa specialist.
